A couple days ago, some neighbors und Ich found eine baby robin that had fallen out of a tree in our backyard. We kept it in a large habitat I built with my grandfather to raise butterflies. We didn’t know what to do, so wir tried letting it back out to be taken care of by its parents, yet once they located it, they completely abandoned Er. So we called the audubon society to take it to a sanctuary, where hopefully a bird would teach it how to feed itself.
Aber as we were getting ready to take him there, eine robin came down to a nearby branch. We had been guiding our bird to fly, and he was able to fly to that branch. Hopefully that was one of it’s parents, ready to take care of it.
I also have to ask a question to anyone who knows birds. On the night that we found our bird, I went down to check at the pond by our house, to see if there was any other robins there. Aber was Ich found, was a different kind of bird.
It’s wingspan was about 4 and a half feet. It was white with a brown tint, and black and red stripes on the tips of its wings. I think it might be a crane, does anyone know what it could be?
Wow, there are a lot of interesting birds where I live! =)
