I have some sad news. Over last weekend, my last polyphemus caterpillar died. I thought my projects were over, but on Thursday, I was taking a walk, And I discovered something.
He’s now in my custody, and doing fine. He eats maple, and is in his 5th instar. I know that Woolly Bears are really basic caterpillars to raise, but beggars can’t be choosers. Plus he’s adorable.
I’ll tell you how he’s doing as much as possible. =)
Good luck with your new critter, sorry to hear about the last one.
It’s fine, and thanks for the support.=)
what a cutie! how is he doing?
Well, when you made that comment (60 years ago) he was doing great. He still is, he’s just in a coma.
